I want my love in England now that spring is here
To see the colours of the flowers and the sky so crystal clear .
To smell the sweeping meadows of green green pastures new
I want my love to love me and walk in mornings dew
To stop and view the rivers flow
to understand, to love, construe
To know how Englishmen are proud
Of this their, Island land
To be as one at home at last
with her own Englishman.
